Automotive automation expertise

The Christopher Stephen Corporation has spent four decades building the machines that build the world's vehicles. From powertrain assembly to EV integration, we deliver automation systems that meet the precision and speed demands of modern automotive manufacturing.

Capability

Powertrain assembly automation

High-volume production demands precision and speed. TCSC builds systems that assemble engine blocks, transmissions, and drivetrain components with the consistency that modern manufacturing requires. Our automation handles the repetitive, critical work so your teams focus on quality control.

Capability

EV component integration and assembly

Electric vehicles demand different thinking. Battery pack assembly, motor integration, and thermal management systems require specialized handling. We design automation that respects the unique challenges of EV manufacturing without reinventing the wheel.

Heavy-duty vehicle automation

Trucks and commercial vehicles need systems built to last. Heavier components, tougher tolerances, longer production runs. We engineer automation that handles the demands of heavy-duty manufacturing.

Robot integration and EOAT

The right robot with the right end-of-arm tooling makes the difference. We integrate collaborative and industrial robots, design custom grippers and fixtures, and ensure every system works as one.

Trusted by automotive manufacturers worldwide

"TCSC built us a system that runs like it was made for our line. Quality went up, downtime went down, and we haven't looked back."

FAQ

Answers to questions we hear most often about our services and process.

How long does a project take?

Timeline depends on complexity and scope. A large assembly line might take a year (which is standard), or a small machine might take 20 weeks. We're realistic about timelines because we know it impacts your business case.

How much does a project cost?

Every project is custom, so every price is custom. Just reach out to us.

Is there a project that's too small to take on?

No project is too small. We regularly take on hundred-dollar machine jobs and we enjoy them.

Can you integrate with existing equipment?

Yes, we can integrate with existing equipment.

What controls and robot systems do you work with?

We're control system and robot agnostic. We can work with all major brands of controls (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Omron, Bosch) and any robot brand your project requires. While we have more experience with some systems than others, we're willing to work with whatever controls platform you need.

Do you have a dedicated project manager?

Yes, we have a dedicated project manager who manages our resources and communicates with your project manager (if you have one) to ensure alignment on schedules and deliverables.
