How We Build

Every TCSC project follows the same six phases,
from engineering and design to on-site installation and support.

Approach

Our proven method

We start by listening, then we build

Phase 1: Engineering & Design

Engineered Solutions Start With a Design

Engineering is where every TCSC project begins, and where the most important decisions get made. Our engineering team designs the full system from the ground up, producing detailed drawings for every individual component before anything is ordered or machined. We work with any control platform your operation requires: Allen Bradley, Siemens, Omron, Bosch, or whatever your standard requires. The design is reviewed and approved internally before the build starts. That's not a formality; it's how we ensure we are providing a robust solution the first time.

Phase 2: Project Management

Dedicated Project Management Ensures Smooth Projects

Every TCSC project has a dedicated project manager, one person accountable for keeping engineering, machining, and assembly moving together, and for communicating directly with your team throughout. As the customer, your PM has a TCSC point of contact who knows the job, knows the schedule, and can answer questions without having to track someone down. TCSC prides ourself on clear, frequent and concise project updates to ensure the project stays on track and your team is informed.

Phase 3: Prototyping

Leveraging Prototyping To Build Confidence

Every machine TCSC builds is unique, often one of one. That means the first build is always, in some ways, a first. Prototyping is where the model meets reality: where we test, measure, and uncover unknowns. This builds confidence going into the assembly and debugging phases.

Phase 4: Build / Manufacturing

Machined here. Fabricated here. Assembled here.

Fabrication, machining, and final assembly all happen under one roof, ensuring top quality. When your machinist is 30 feet from your engineer and your assembly team is down the hall, questions get answered fast, tolerances get caught early, and nothing gets lost between vendors. Over 2,700 jobs completed. From simple machined to print jobs to total turn key automation.

Phase 5: Install

We built it. We'll be there when it starts.

TCSC's team is on-site for installation, not because we have to be, but because we believe it is key to ensuring a successful startup. We know the machine inside and out because we designed every piece of it. That means faster commissioning, faster troubleshooting if anything comes up, and operators who actually understand what they're running before we leave.

Phase 6: Support

Support from the source.

Post-install support isn't handed off to a general service line. When something needs attention, you're talking to the people who designed the machine, machined the parts, and installed the system. Whether it's an operator question, engineering request, or a service call, we are available to help. We are committed to supporting our customers long after install as we believe this is how long term partnerships are formed.

What customers say

Results speak louder than promises

“The large variety of part variations add complexity when automating. TCSC designed a clever and user-friendly machine that is flexible for all part variations.”
